Médiane Benelux in Charleroi, Belgium, seeks a System Engineer to support design and specification of complex railway signalling systems.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, handling system modelling, requirements definition, and traceability across the project lifecycle. English and French required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Medior-level experience in systems engineering, system design or requirements management.
• Hands-on experience with system modelling methods such as UML, SysML, SADT or MBSE.
• Proven experience in writing technical specifications and managing requirement traceability.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Background in safety-critical systems (railway, automotive, aerospace) or similar regulated industry.
• Strong interest in system design and systems engineering.
• Knowledge of railway signalling systems is a strong asset.
• Analytical, rigorous and able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.

Our client, an established company active in the railway sector, is looking for a System Engineer to support the design and specification of complex railway signalling systems.

You will work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and contribute to system modelling, requirements definition and traceability activities throughout the project lifecycle.
