Médiane Benelux is seeking a System Engineer for railway signalling to analyze and develop the system architecture and key interfaces. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to define requirements, allocate design choices, and assess risks across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with RAM, safety, cybersecurity, software, product and V&V teams to ensure specification completeness and traceability from input needs, while staying aware of evolving standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics, telecom, automation or related field.
• Strong written English communication.
• Basic programming skills.
• Experience with modeling methods and requirement traceability.
• Background in safety-critical systems.
• Knowledge of railway signalling systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, clarify, and validate input requirements.
• Perform system modeling, design studies, and risk assessment for de-risking.
• Define and maintain system specifications and traceability.
• Collaborate with RAM, safety, cybersecurity, software and V&V teams.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure design fits the architecture.
• Support technical reviews and interactions with end-users.
• Stay informed of tech developments and promote reuse of solutions.
