Job summary

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is seeking a Quality Specialist to monitor production-floor quality and registrations, and to implement structured quality programs such as GEMBA and CBSQ. You will handle internal and external complaints, perform root cause analyses, and support audits (customers, FSSC22000, ISO 9001) with corrective actions.

You will drive continuous improvement projects, train staff on quality tools, and collaborate with the SHEQ and Plant Managers to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree and initial QA/QC experience in a production setting.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to work independently while coordinating with peers and supervisors.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus; fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Presence on the production floor to monitor quality and registrations.
• Create, integrate, and document quality programs (GEMBA, CBSQ) with active participation.
• Handle internal and external complaints and implement corrective actions for customer satisfaction.
• Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and translate findings into improvements.
• Oversee audits for customers, FSSC22000 and ISO 9001, and contribute to action plans.
• Lead improvement projects with a focus on quality and process enhancement.
• Identify training needs and deliver training/toolbox sessions to raise quality awareness.

Job Description:

• Aanwezigheid in productie: je bent zichtbaar op de werkvloer en volgt de kwaliteit en kwaliteitsregistraties van nabij op.
• Kwaliteitsprogramma’s: Je creëert, integreert en documenteert kwaliteitsprogramma’s zoals GEMBA, CBSQ (commitment based on Safety en Qualiteit) en hebt hierin een actieve rol.
• Klachtenafhandeling: je behandelt interne en externe klachten en zet de nodige corrigerende acties uit, om zo een uitstekende klantentevredenheid te garanderen.
• Root Cause Analyses (RCA): je onderzoekt kwaliteitsproblemen grondig en vertaalt deze naar verbeteracties.
• UN-keuringen en testen: je volgt de wettelijke keuringen op, voert valtesten uit en zorgt voor een correcte rapportering en verbeteracties waar nodig.
• Audits: je bereidt klanten-, FSSC22000 en ISO 9001-audits voor en neemt actief deel aan de uitvoering ervan en opvolging van eventuele actieplannen.
• Verbeterprojecten: je neemt initiatief om processen te optimaliseren en draagt actief bij aan de continue verbetering van onze organisatie, met een sterke focus op kwaliteit.
• Opleiding: je identificeert de noden bij onze medewerkers en geef trainingen/ toolboxen om zo de focus en kennis over kwaliteit te verhogen

Competenties:

• Je hebt een bachelor diploma en een eerste ervaring binnen een kwaliteitsfunctie (QA/QC), bij voorkeur in een productieomgeving.
• Je werkt hands-on, bent zichtbaar aanwezig en gaat pragmatisch te werk.
• Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar stemt vlot af met collega’s en leidinggevenden.
• Je bent nauwkeurig, kan goed prioriteiten bepalen en houdt het overzicht.
• Kennis van ISO 9001 is een pluspunt.
• Een goede kennis van Nederlands & Engels is vereist.

• Is verantwoordelijk voor de eigen veiligheid, maakt gebruik van de correcte PBM’s en heeft respect voor alle procedures en materiaal.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is €49,900.00 - €84,900.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between60,000.00 to72,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
