Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. is seeking a QA Lead Upstream to manage Food Safety and Quality in the Upstream department. You will investigate complaints, perform root cause analysis and ensure QMS compliance across processes and equipment.

You will lead the quality agenda, mentor team members, and coordinate action plans for continuous improvement, working with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of food safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a science field or equivalent by experience.
• Minimum of 5–7 years in a Quality role in the food industry.
• HACCP and GSFI audit knowledge.
• Good organizer and team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate root cause analysis of incidents, complaints or other non-conformities to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage hold & release process within QA scope and ensure documented evidence.
• Coordinate action plans related to QMS standards compliance or non-conformities from incidents, complaints, audits.
• Perform trend analysis on KPI’s to prioritize QA matters and drive compliance.
• Lead the quality agenda in meetings and GEMBA walks; support quality culture across teams.
• Coach and support subordinates to achieve business goals and quality standards.
• Manage specialized quality projects and ensure compliance of results with QMS standards.
