Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. seeks a QA Lead for our Halle production site to establish and drive quality and food safety standards. You will validate HACCP plans, handle customer complaints, and lead continuous improvement across processes and documentation.

The role requires a strong background in FSSC 22000, HACCP and Kosher/Halal standards, plus expertise in training, audits and CAPA initiatives. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant science/engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, Kosher/Halal and sustainability norms.
• Analytical mindset, accuracy and quality focus.
• Team-oriented and collaborative with proactive information sharing.
• Coaching skills and ability to identify training needs.
• Problem solving leadership including RCA sessions and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procedures, forms and training materials aligned with standards.
• Map processes, identify food safety risks and define CCPs/PRPs.
• Monitor CCPs, investigate deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Update docs when standards or processes change.
• Analyze customer complaints and define preventive actions.
• Create learning material and follow up on shop-floor implementation.
• Support internal and external audits and track actions.
• Participate in daily production meetings and propose improvements.
• Support problem solving, GMP rounds and CAPA initiatives.
