Imec, a world‑leading R&D center in nanoelectronics and digital technologies, is seeking a QA Engineer to validate manufacturing applications that support our pilot‑line operations. You will ensure these systems are reliable, intuitive, and ready for operation in a complex, international environment.

You will drive application quality from concept to deployment by planning and executing functional, integration, regression, end‑to‑end, and user acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in application testing or QA engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing/semiconductor or CIM/MES environments is a strong asset.
• ISTQB certification is a bonus, but mindset and hands-on skills matter more.

Responsabilités

• Drive application quality from concept to deployment with functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance tests.
• Partner with users, engineers, and developers to understand processes, validate requirements, and ensure solutions meet operational needs.
• Provide clear quality visibility by documenting test results, reporting metrics, managing defects, and delivering evidence for deployment decisions.
• Enable successful adoption through user validation, training support, and readiness assessments.
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and raising quality standards across the organization.
