Imec in Belgium seeks a QA Engineer for Manufacturing Applications to validate core manufacturing software used in semiconductor research and pilot-line operations. You will collaborate with users, engineers, and process experts to ensure reliability and operational readiness.

You will design and execute tests across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios, document results, track defects, and support Go/No-Go decisions while driving continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in application testing for manufacturing/CIM/MES environments.
• ISTQB certification is a bonus, but mindset matters more.
• 5+ years of QA engineering experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance tests.
• Collaborate with users, engineers, and developers to validate requirements and ensure solutions meet operational needs.
• Document test results, report quality metrics, manage defects, and provide evidence for deployment decisions.
• Enable successful application adoption through user validation, training support, and readiness assessments.
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and refining testing practices.
