Thales Belgium Technical Design Office in Tubize is seeking a Team Leader Prototypes to supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities for hardware products, including mechanical assembly, PCB mounting, harness manufacturing, and subcontractor management.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure quality standards, manage inventory, and lead a multi-skilled team of operators with a focus on manufacturability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in electronics or mechanics, or equivalent through experience.
• Min 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of French and English.
• MS Excel mandatory.
• Experience in mechanical or harnesses manufacturing.
• Knowledge in IPC610/620 Standards is a plus.
• Experience in military sector is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prototype Production supervision with electrical harnesses manufacturing, mechanical assembly, PCB assembly and soldering.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of multi-skilled operators; allocate tasks and provide weekly reporting.
• Coordinate outsourced activities and manage subcontractors.
• Participate in continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen) and ensure conformance to standards.
• Monitor inventory and logistics to reduce waste and avoid stock piling or shortage.
