Syngenia SA is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Owner's Representative for data center construction projects in Mons, Belgium. You will oversee all phases from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high quality.

The role requires managing schedules, costs, and stakeholders, and negotiating with contractors. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in engineering (electrical) with PM experience on construction sites, fluency in English, and a PMP

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering with an electrical background.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction sites.
• English required; French is a plus.
• Strong scheduling and budgeting understanding for complex projects.
• Experience with Data Centre/infrastructure projects and Primavera P6.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with client, contractors, vendors, and design teams; lead negotiations and change orders.
• Monitor QA/QC, documentation, and project communications across lifecycle.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Owners Representative for construction site projects, with an electrical background. This is for our client in Mons, that is experienced in Data Center projects.

Mission

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including the client, contractors, subcontractors, and design teams, while managing schedules, budgets, risks, and communications across the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will handle contractor negotiations, change orders, and project closeout activities.

You will:

• Be the point of contact for subcontractors with project related concerns during preconstruction
• Create and establish the Master Project Schedule, based on the Critical Path and key milestones. (P6 cost/resource loaded schedule)
• Create and establish the Master Project Budget, including soft costs and hard costs, bonds, insurance, contingencies, allowances, etc.
• Support Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations
• Support Contract negotiation, typically in concert with the Client’s PM and legal counsel, including establishment of all GC “business terms” including mark‑ups, fees, insurance, labor rates, escalation, etc.
• Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground
• Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
• Document control (track and coordinate addenda, bulletins, new drawing sets, clarifications, etc)
• Ensure QA/QC is being followed and report any issues/gaps
• Invoice/Payment Application processing, tracking and reporting
• Tracking of all key project documents, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices and payments, lien releases, etc.
• Coordination and management of all Owner‑direct vendors, and consultants

Profile

You have a:

• Master’s degree in engineering, with a background in electrical engineering
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction sites.
• You speak English. French is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., PMP, relevant engineering degrees).
• Experience with Data Centre, infrastructure, or any complex projects, including Primavera P6 and Google Suite.
