Syngenia SA seeks a Contracts Manager to lead the management and administration of contracts for a major data centre expansion project in Mons, Belgium. You will review, interpret, and monitor complex contracts and draft formal correspondence, notices, and claims.

You will act as the primary contact for contractual matters with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, identifying risks and opportunities and supporting project teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or data centre sectors.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex technical and commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting contractual notices, claims, and formal correspondence.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to confidently represent the company in discussions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Experience working with commercial teams, including Quantity Surveyors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.

• Managing and administering contracts for a major data centre expansion project in Mons.
• Reviewing, interpreting, and monitoring complex technical and commercial contracts.
• Drafting contractual correspondence, notices, claims, and other formal communications.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for contractual matters involving subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Identifying and managing contractual risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting project teams in the resolution of contractual and commercial issues.
• Participating in technical and commercial meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensuring contractual compliance and maintaining accurate contractual documentation.
• Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and external partners to support successful project delivery.

Profile

You have:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, or in a similar contract management role.
• Strong experience in the construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, or data centre sectors.
• Excellent ability to analyse and interpret complex technical and commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting contractual notices, claims, and formal correspondence.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• The ability to confidently represent the company in discussions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Experience working closely with commercial teams, including Quantity Surveyors.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.
