Job summary

Catalay in Belgium seeks a PMO / Project Manager to support a complex EPC/EPCM program. You will consolidate planning, cost, risk and KPI data to drive decisions and reporting for the client.

You will supervise scheduling in MS Project, manage interfaces across Engineering, Procurement and Construction, and deliver weekly and monthly client reports. Fluent French and English required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial project execution.
• 8+ years in project management, PMO, project controls, engineering or construction on EPC/EPCM or complex industrial projects.
• Solid understanding of interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning and Cost Control.
• Advanced command of MS Project, Excel (dashboards), Power BI and Microsoft 365.
• Rigour, autonomy and the ability to challenge data before consolidation; fluent in French and English.

About the role

• Consolidate CAPEX, financial commitments and cost forecasts using the established project controls reporting tools.
• Define and monitor Engineering, Procurement and Construction KPIs.
• Maintain the action log and the risk and opportunity register fed by each discipline; prepare coordination meetings and write the minutes.
• Produce weekly and monthly client reports and Steering Committee presentation packs.

Your profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial project execution.
• 8+ years in project management, PMO, project controls, engineering or construction on EPC, EPCM or complex industrial projects.
• Solid understanding of the interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning and Cost Control.
• Advanced command of MS Project, Excel (advanced functions, dashboards), Power BI and Microsoft 365.
• Rigour, autonomy and the ability to challenge data before consolidation; clear written and verbal communication in French and English, internally and with the client.
