Jan De Nul Group is seeking a Project Manager for Soetaert in Belgium to ensure the correct and timely completion of assignments on ROCO. You will oversee planning, budget, and coordination, while negotiating with suppliers and maintaining client relations on multiple sites.

The role demands a Civil or Industrial Engineer with at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a focus on safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Civil or Industrial Engineer in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Affinity with soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
• Strong organizational talent with high independence; good communication and commercial skills.

Responsabilités

• Organize, plan and coordinate projects in terms of technology, administration and budget.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors; maintain relations with clients and other parties involved.
• Control and monitor the execution of works on site.
• Ensure permanent follow-up of site managers and intervene in case of technical problems.
• Evaluate and report on progress and communicate with the Ostend office.

About the role

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the correct and timely completion of assigned projects on ROCO. Since 2015, NV Algemene Ondernemingen SOETAERT has been part of Jan De Nul Group. Soetaert carries out all possible foundation techniques, both for buildings and infrastructure works. What you’ll do

Your main duties and responsibilities:

• The organisation, planning and coordination of a project in terms of technology, administration and budget.
• You conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and maintain relations with the client and other parties involved.
• You are responsible for controlling and monitoring the execution of works.
• You ensure permanent follow-up of the site managers, intervene in case of technical problems and make adjustments where necessary.
• You evaluate and report on the progress of the works and communicate regularly with the Ostend office.
• You are also responsible for safety, quality and the environment on site.

Your profile

You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer in Civil Engineering. You have at least 10 years' experience in a similar position and have an affinity with soil mechanics and foundation engineering. You are an organisational talent with a high degree of independence. You have good communication and commercial skills. You will work on our sites in Belgium.
