Soetaert, part of the Jan De Nul Group, seeks a Project Manager to lead foundation and civil works on site in Belgium. You will organize, plan and coordinate projects, manage budget and schedule, and supervise site managers to ensure timely delivery.

With a Master's in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of experience, you bring strong communication, negotiation and commercial skills. You will work across Belgium with suppliers, subcontractors and clients, ensuring safety, quality and environmental

Qualifications

• Civil or Industrial Engineer with a focus on civil engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar project management role.
• Affinity with soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
• Strong organizational, communication, and commercial skills.
• Ability to manage site projects in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the execution of works.
• Ensure site managers are supported and intervene for technical issues.

Your Work Context

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the correct and timely completion of assigned projects on ROCO. Since 2015, NV Algemene Ondernemingen SOETAERT has been part of Jan De Nul Group. Soetaert carries out all possible foundation techniques, both for buildings and infrastructure works. Your Role

Your main duties and responsibilities

• The organisation, planning and coordination of a project in terms of technology, administration and budget.
• You conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and maintain relations with the client and other parties involved.
• You are responsible for controlling and monitoring the execution of works.
• You ensure permanent follow-up of the site managers, intervene in case of technical problems and make adjustments where necessary.
• You evaluate and report on the progress of the works and communicate regularly with the Ostend office.
• You are also responsible for safety, quality and the environment on site.

Your profile

You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer in Civil Engineering. You have at least 10 years' experience in a similar position and have an affinity with soil mechanics and foundation engineering. You are an organisational talent with a high degree of independence. You have good communication and commercial skills. You will work on our sites in Belgium.
