Pauwels Consulting is assisting a leading Belgian energy player to recruit a Project Lead for high‑voltage cables in the Brussels region. You will manage cable projects from definition to close‑out, perform technical studies, and coordinate on‑site execution with suppliers and contractors.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, strong technical aptitude, and excellent organizational and client‑facing skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage cable projects from definition through close-out.

Our client is a leading player in the Belgian energy sector, focused on making the country's energy infrastructure more reliable and sustainable. As Project Lead, you'll help develop complex electrical infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on high-voltage cables.

• Manage cable projects from the definition phase through to administrative close-out.
• Carry out and oversee technical studies and calculations for electrical infrastructure.
• Draw up and track project budgets and detailed schedules based on available resources.
• Prepare tender documents and support the commercial procurement process.
• Coordinate on-site execution in close collaboration with internal colleagues, suppliers and contractors.
• Report on project progress and keep all stakeholders informed proactively.

• You hold a Master's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, or have equivalent experience.
• You have a strong technical aptitude and an interest in the energy sector.
• You're a natural organiser with a strong sense of responsibility and plenty of resourcefulness.
• You have strong communication skills and a client-focused, assertive approach.
• You live in the Brussels or Hainaut area.
• You have a perfect command of French.

Nice to have

• Experience in project management or site supervision.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
