We ARE Renewables is seeking Project Engineers for an EPCI contractor in offshore wind. You will support the preparation and execution of offshore projects, collaborating with multi-national teams and possibly working on vessels, on site, or in client offices.

The role requires a BSc/MSc in relevant engineering, 2–3 years of office/offshore experience, strong English skills, and willingness to relocate to Belgium or the Netherlands with rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Electromechanics or Civil Engineering, or MSc in Offshore Engineering or Marine Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in office and offshore project preparations and executions in renewables or offshore wind.
• Fluent in English; willing to work abroad on vessels or projects; relocation mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Engineer the preparation and execution of offshore projects and develop method statements.
• On site, implement and optimize method statements offshore.
• Coordinate between the site/vessel and the office and monitor installation progress.
• Ensure planning, production reporting, budget control and cost monitoring.

We ARE looking for Project Engineers for one of our clients, an EPCI contractor in the offshore wind industry, to join them on a permanent/staff basis.

As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of all nationalities and disciplines and you might work on board of our clients vessels, on the project site and in one of the offices of our client.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of our projects;
• Developing method statements for our works before we go execute them offshore;
• When on site, optimizing and implementing the method statements in practice;
• Communicating between site or vessel and the office;
• Keeping track of the installation process on the bridge on board one of our vessels;
• Monitoring the progress of the project, participate in coordinating activities in the field, optimize and fine-tune where necessary in support of the Works Manager or Superintendent;
• Taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the project management;
• Ensuring planning, production reporting, budget control and cost monitoring.
• In this role you will be working office-based during the preparation phase of the project. During the project execution phase on a 1 on/ 1 off rotation for example 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off (you will have time off in between rotations). Outside of Europe the rotation schedule can be different.

Requirements/Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Electromechanics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; or Master’s degree (MSc) in Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline;
• At least 2-3 years of experience in both office/offshore (project preparations&executions) in at least one of the following niches: cables, foundations, dredging, rock dumping, T&I, heavy lift or other relatable disciplines within renewables (Mandatory Requirement) or proven experience in the offshore wind industry.
• Relevant experience within project management.
• Willingness to work abroad on our vessels or projects and in the office;
• Fluent in verbal and written English;
• Excellent team player.

Location: Netherlands or Belgium (depends on the discipline you'd work) - relocation is mandatory
