# Senior Electrical Project Engineer OffshoreYour Work ContextOur Electrical Team is part of Jan De Nul's Offshore Energy Division, based in Aalst. The team focuses on the electrical aspects of offshore energy projects.Your RoleBecause of the strong growth in the offshore renewables market, the division is expanding and is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer Offshore. As a Electrical Project Engineer Offshore you’ll become part of a department which is responsible for LV (low voltage) and HV (high voltage) design, integration and commissioning of electrical installations on EPCI, cable & WTG foundation projects. In your role as Electrical Project Engineer Offshore you will report back to the responsible package manager regarding the progress of the design and the planning. You will coordinate with other internal stakeholders to secure inputs on time.Your main tasks and responsibilities:* You will be responsible for the design of LV and HV and utility systems on wind farms (cable- and WTG foundation projects) during all phases from concept to commissioning.* You will identify and manage interfaces with regards to the electrical part for the design of our foundations.* You will prepare technical specifications, design basis, lists and calculations for LV and HV and utility components.* You will ensure that the deliverables from engineering, fabrication and principal contractors are of the right quality according to requirements of the employer or inter/national regulations.* You will participate in FAT/SAT of main LV- and HV utility systems* You will participate in project team meetings and cross-disciplinary cooperation, support supervision and commissioning activities as well as supporting handover to Operation & Maintenance.**What do you need to have?**You have a bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering and are interested in working with electrical design for wind farms.You have extensive relevant technical design experience (ex. with basic cabinet design and standards). You have practical experience in LV and HV power system design and studies, calculations, equipment sizing and specifications.You have practical experience with tools like ETAP, Dialux, Eplan, Digsilent power factory, etc and extensive experience with relevant international standards. You speak and write fluently in English. You have an international mindset, able to work in cross-disciplinary teams and cooperate with colleagues and external business partners.
