• Liaise with partners and stakeholders, and coordinate with internal IOM units on administrative and contractual matters.
• Support the drafting of narrative and financial reports for donors.
• Assist in identifying and developing partnerships with civil society, government institutions, research institutes, universities, and the private sector.
• Provide administrative support for new project development, including concept notes and proposals.
• Participate in and follow up on relevant meetings and conferences.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Organizational context: The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a UN-related agency since 1951, facilitates humane and orderly migration. It protects people on the move, resolves displacement issues, and advises governments and migrants. The IOM Belgium and Luxembourg office implements projects, with this role supporting overall coordination under the Chief of Mission and direct supervision from the Head of Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion (LMI) Unit.

Job purpose: This role supports the coordination of projects within the IOM Belgium and Luxembourg office, specifically focusing on either the Social Integration or Migration and Development thematic pillars. As a Pillar Lead at the G5 level, the incumbent will oversee a portfolio of related projects, providing day-to-day coordination of implementation with a dedicated team. The Social Integration Pillar focuses on migrant and host community well-being through projects promoting social cohesion and access to services. The Migration and Development Pillar aims to enhance migration's positive impact on sustainable development via diaspora engagement, remittances, and skills exchanges. Both positions require comparable skills in project coordination, team support, stakeholder engagement, and results delivery.

Perform other related duties as required.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in political science, social science, migration studies, or a related field with three years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a completed secondary education with five years of relevant professional experience is acceptable. Universities must be accredited.

Work experience: Proven experience in project management is essential. Experience with project monitoring and data analysis tools is also required. Knowledge of migration-related fields is considered an advantage.

Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and diplomatic skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
