Job summary

Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a senior program manager to support a major international infrastructure program within our large projects division. You will help define and continuously improve the program management framework, including standards for budget, schedule, and risk management.

You will consolidate budgets and forecasts, drive governance reporting, and coordinate expert activities to align priorities and enable fact-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a financial, business, or technical field such as engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project or program management.
• Strong organizational, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French with a good working knowledge of the other language.

Responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the program management framework including standards for budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Support the definition and management of integrated baselines for scope and budget to ensure coherence across all control domains.
• Consolidate budget estimates and cost forecasts while providing clear insight into variances and trends.
• Facilitate risk and opportunity management by identifying potential issues and supporting the team with mitigation actions.
• Develop and manage consistent program reporting for governance bodies to support fact-based decision-making.
• Coordinate expert activities to align priorities and promote constructive collaboration across the project team.
