Xeryon, based in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a hands-on Production Manager to lead its Machining Cell and assembly lines. You will translate supply chain plans into high-quality output while enforcing safety and Lean practices.

Reporting to the COO, you will drive TPM, 5S, Kanban, and root-cause problem solving across a high-tech manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment availability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in precision manufacturing (machining, precision assembly, or high-tech equipment).
• Proven track record in executing production schedules.
• Practical mastery of Lean tools (5S, Kanban, VSM).
• Formal root-cause problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Experience tracking machine maintenance programs (Preventive/Corrective Maintenance, TPM).
• Technical understanding of high-precision mechanics and CNC concepts.

Responsabilités

• Plan Execution & Schedule Adherence: deliver master schedules and daily targets on time.
• EHS & Safety Leadership: enforce strict health, safety, and environment standards.
• Dual-Unit Leadership: manage Machining Cell and Assembly Lines with autonomy.
• Maintenance Execution: oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lean & Root-Cause Problem Solving: apply Lean tools and structured problem-solving methods.
• Team Development & Continuous Improvement: foster cross-training and KPIs across teams.
