Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on procurement experience.
• Solid experience in manufacturing and understanding of technical components.
• Ability to discuss design optimisations with suppliers and internal R&D teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; Odoo experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; Dutch is an asset for local coordination.

Responsabilités

• Operational Ownership: translate procurement strategy into daily actions and measurable production results.
• Supplier Quality Escalation: first point of contact to resolve quality issues and minimize downtime.
• Design-to-Cost Collaboration: partner with engineers and suppliers to find cost-saving opportunities within product design.
• Performance Tracking: monitor supplier delivery times to ensure the production line stays uninterrupted.
• TCO & ERP Management: manage the full cost cycle beyond unit prices and maintain data accuracy in the ERP.

You will be the operational engine ensuring our manufacturing never stops and our costs stay competitive.

The Role: Operational Excellence & Execution

As our Procurement Lead, you are the bridge between technical innovation and commercial reality. This is a highly executive role where you thrive in the day-to-day management of our supply chain. You won't just be managing spreadsheets; you’ll be on the floor and in direct contact with suppliers, acting as the primary lead for quality escalations and technical cost-optimization. Your mission is simple but critical: maintain a near 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) rate while structurally reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Your daily impact includes:

• Operational Ownership: Translating our procurement strategy into immediate daily actions and measurable production results.
• Supplier Quality Escalation: Acting as the first point of contact to resolve quality issues swiftly and minimize production downtime.
• Design-to-Cost Collaboration: Partnering with internal engineers and suppliers to find cost-saving opportunities directly within the product design.
• Performance Tracking: Monitoring supplier delivery times with a "laser focus" to ensure our manufacturing line remains uninterrupted.
• TCO & ERP Management: Managing the full cost cycle beyond unit prices and utilizing our ERP system to maintain precise data for production planning.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a procurement role.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid experience in the manufacturing industry and an understanding of technical components.
• Technical Insight: The ability to discuss design optimizations with both technical suppliers and internal R&D.
• System Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, with Odoo experience considered a significant advantage.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; a good command of Dutch is a strong asset for local coordination.
