EurocapEurocork seeks a Production Manager to lead the operational core, aligning production with sales to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery for an international customer base. You will switch between leadership, production and R&D, shaping processes and coordinating with suppliers across Europe.

You bring an engineering background, hands-on mindset, and a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and compliance (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS).

Eurocap and Eurocork together form a dynamic, family-owned SME specialised in the production and sale of closures: cork stoppers, crown corks, wirehoods, lids and more. Our customers are in the beverage and food industries — from local breweries and distilleries to international bottling companies, winemakers, soft-drink producers and non-alcoholic beverage companies. They all have one thing in common: they rely on products that meet specification exactly and are delivered on time.

To deliver on this promise, we are looking for a results-driven Production Manager. In this role you are responsible for the operational core of our company. You ensure that production and operations align seamlessly with sales: what is sold is produced on time and to specification under your leadership. You switch effortlessly between leadership, production and R&D. Our order book is international: you plan and deliver for customers across Europe and beyond, and you work with suppliers in several countries.

Your responsibilities

• Planning & deadline control: You translate orders into a production schedule. Delivery deadlines are non-negotiable, and you ensure we achieve our OTIF (On Time In Full) targets.
• Leadership: You lead a compact but growing production team (3 employees) and ensure focus, efficiency and the right priorities on the shop floor.
• Process control: You ensure machines and people perform optimally. In case of unforeseen circumstances, you act quickly to safeguard continuity and customer delivery.
• Customer-oriented approach: You work closely with sales. Urgent orders or specific requests? You assess what is technically and operationally feasible and communicate clearly.

Product quality & customer requirements

• Compliance: You guarantee that every product leaving our facility meets the customer's technical specifications.
• Product requirements: Customer and market requirements may differ depending on the application. You make sure our products and the accompanying documentation meet the specifications that apply in each case.
• First time right: You drive a production process where errors are prevented rather than corrected afterwards.
• Practical quality assurance: You manage and implement the required standards (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS) pragmatically: quality must live on the shop floor, not only on paper.
• Complaint handling: In case of deviations, you resolve issues professionally and implement structural measures to prevent recurrence.
• Technical advisory: You support customers with technical challenges and develop product‑specific solutions together with them.
• Innovation: You test new materials and applications that add value for our customers (e.g. product development & innovation, sustainability, improved processability).
• You continuously assess how we can produce faster, better or more efficiently for our customers.
• You lead investment projects (new machinery, automation and subsidy applications) that increase production capacity and flexibility.
• You work with an international supply base — raw materials, tooling and machine builders across Europe — and select partners on quality, reliability and total cost.

Your profile

We are looking for someone technically strong, but above all someone who understands that a production company is driven by customer service.

• Background: You are an engineer (or equivalent through experience) with experience in a production environment, preferably in packaging.
• Results-oriented: “Impossible” is not in your vocabulary. You seek solutions to serve the customer within agreed timelines.
• Problem-solving: When something goes wrong, you look for the root cause rather than the symptom, and you put a fix in place that holds.
• Mindset: You do not have a nine-to-five mentality. You are flexible and do what it takes to deliver on your commitments.
• Stress-resistant: You remain calm under tight deadlines and unexpected planning changes.
• Highly organised: Excellent time management and a clear sense of priorities. You keep several tasks and projects running side by side, and report progress and problems clearly to management.
• Detail-oriented and hygienic: You do not accept half measures when it comes to product specifications, and you uphold the hygiene standards our sector demands — on the shop floor as much as on paper.
• Communicative: You interact smoothly with production staff, management and customers.
• International outlook: You work comfortably across borders and adapt easily to different markets and business cultures.
• Languages: A good command of Dutch and English is essential. Other languages are a plus.
