Senhive in Hasselt is seeking a Production Engineer to blend hands-on production work with administrative and technical duties. You will participate in assembly, manage ERP data (Odoo) including BOMs, and schedule production orders through to shipment.

You will also support production planning, inventory control, and quality inspections while contributing to QMS improvements. With a 5–10 year background in electronics manufacturing, you will drive process optimization and be prepared to grow

Responsabilités

  • Participate in production team and assist assembly of products.
  • Manage ERP system (Odoo), BOMs, item master data and product variants.
  • Create, schedule and monitor production orders through packaging and shipment.
  • Prepare production work orders and ensure accurate administration.
  • Support daily production planning and monitor capacity, priorities and deadlines.
  • Manage inventory in ERP and on the floor, including stock counts.
  • Perform quality inspections and report findings.
  • Coordinate incoming quality inspections between Purchasing and Production.
  • Assist QMS and drive continuous improvement with QA Manager.
  • Conduct internal audits and tool/safety inspections.
  • Prepare supplier quality reports and follow-ups to ensure quality.
  • Contribute to maintaining an organized production environment and identify process improvements.

Description du poste

As a Production Engineer, you play a key role within our production organization. You combine a hands‑on role on the production floor with administrative and technical responsibilities. You actively participate in the assembly of our products while ensuring that production processes run efficiently, meet quality standards, and stay on schedule.

In addition, you manage production‑related data in our ERP system, support production planning, and contribute to maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS). You work closely with various internal teams and actively identify opportunities to further optimize our production processes.

Following a successful onboarding period and a positive performance review, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role of Production Team Lead, following our “lead by example” philosophy.

What you’ll do
  • Actively participate in the production team and support the assembly of our products.
  • Manage the ERP system (Odoo), including maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), item master data, and product variants.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor production orders through to packaging and shipment.
  • Prepare production work orders and ensure accurate administrative processing.
  • Support daily production planning while monitoring capacity, priorities, and delivery deadlines.
  • Manage inventory both in the ERP system and on the production floor, including organizing periodic stock counts.
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming components and finished products, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate incoming quality inspections between Purchasing and Production.
  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct internal audits, including monthly tooling calibrations and inspections of safety equipment.
  • Prepare supplier quality reports (SQRs, QANs, ENNQs, etc.) and take the necessary follow‑up actions to ensure product quality.
  • Contribute to maintaining an organized production environment and proactively identify process improvement opportunities.
Your profile

You are a hands‑on technical professional who enjoys combining production, quality, and process optimization.

You also have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in an (electronics) manufacturing environment.
  • A structured, detail‑oriented, and quality‑focused approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Odoo is an advantage.
  • Excellent Dutch language skills (minimum C1 level) and a good command of English.
  • Experience working in an ESD‑controlled environment.
  • A genuine passion for technology and electronics.
  • Good fine motor skills and excellent attention to detail when working with small electronic components.
Technical Skills

Ideally, you have knowledge of:

  • PCBs, PCBAs, and electronic components (design experience is not required).
  • Practical RF applications, including coaxial cables, RF connectors, and antennas.
  • Various soldering techniques, particularly for repair work.
  • General mechanical assembly techniques and the use of production tooling.
  • Holding an amateur radio license is considered an asset but is not required.
