Job summary

Faktion | AI Solutions & Advisory is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions across industries. You’ll collaborate with software engineers and product managers to deliver production-ready AI systems.

The role requires a strong foundation in AI/ML, CV, and LangChain/LangFuse, with proficiency in Python and Docker. A hybrid work setup in Belgium is offered, with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, AI, ML or related field; Master/PhD a strong plus.
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems (GenAI, ML, CV).
Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow; experience with OpenCV.

Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions across GenAI, ML, CV, and agentic systems.
Translate client problems into concrete architectures and requirements.
Develop and deploy production-ready AI backends with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Build evaluation pipelines and MLOps workflows for data, model training, and monitoring.
Provide technical mentorship to junior team members; document technical specs.
