Job summary

ERGO Insurance in Brussels is seeking a Product Tax Manager to monitor fiscal and product developments, translating them into the product portfolio. You will liaison with the Product Tax Function, Legal and IT to implement changes and ensure accurate, timely tax-related guidance for operational teams.

You will coordinate between tax, contract management, call centre and service managers, performing quality checks on tax reporting and participating in related projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance or a related field (or equivalent by experience).
• Fluency in Dutch or French with very good English.
• Knowledge of life insurance products from legal, tax and product management perspectives.
• Background in business analysis and working in a project setup.
• Strong planning, organizing, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous self-development and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fiscal and product developments and translate impact to ERGO product portfolio.
• Coordinate between Product Tax, Legal and operational teams to answer tax-related questions within SLA.
• Ensure Product Tax reporting quality from a product perspective.
• Coordinate Product Tax related projects with Project Manager and Business Analyst.
• Assist in day-to-day Product and Pricing processes (interest rate changes, product reviews, fund selection).
