Job summary

ERGO Insurance in Brussels is seeking a Product Tax Manager to monitor fiscal and product developments and translate impacts onto the product portfolio. You will coordinate between Product Tax and operational teams, ensure timely, clear responses, and contribute to projects with PM and BA.

You will also support day-to-day Product and Pricing activities including rate changes and reviews. The role offers hybrid work in Brussels, a market-based salary with fringe benefits including a 13th month,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant domain (eg., finance domain), or equivalent by experience
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with a very good knowledge of English
• Knowledge on Life insurance products from a legal, tax and product management perspective, and background in business analysis and working in a project setup
• Good life insurance expertise and basic product tax knowledge (esp. 2nd, 3rd and 4th pillar)
• Result-oriented with a strong focus on achieving objectives, proactive and able to take initiative, perseverance and resilience in challenging situations
• Strong planning and organizational skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Committed to continuous self-development and learning, adaptability and openness to change

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between the Product Tax Function and operational contract management teams, Call Centre teams and Service Managers on operational tax questions to ensure information is received, answered within SLA, and translated into work instructions
• Perform a quality control from the product point of view on Product Tax reporting
• Be involved in Product and Product Tax related projects coordinating among Project Manager, Business Analyst and Product Tax Function
• Assist in day-to-day Product and Pricing department processes (interest rate changes, product review process, fund selection)
