Keystone Solutions is seeking a Product Owner for a client project in Brussels. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will represent business stakeholders and end-users, leading a data product, analytics capability, or reporting solution.

You'll own and prioritize the backlog, align with governance and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with data analysts to translate needs into actionable work items, all within an Agile delivery framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in product ownership.
• Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Understanding of Data Products and Data Mesh principles.
• Experience with data warehousing / BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience in Agile delivery and working with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English and another local language.

Mission Overview: The Product Owner role is a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to deliver value on client projects within the Tribe Data Services, acting as the primary representative of business stakeholders and end-users for a data product, analytical capability, reporting solution, or data domain. You are accountable for maximizing the value delivered by the squad while ensuring alignment with the Tribe strategy, data governance principles, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, objectives, and roadmap in alignment with client priorities.
• Ensure alignment between business expectations, regulatory requirements, enterprise architecture principles, and data strategy.
• Build and communicate a compelling vision of the data product to stakeholders and squad members.
• Identify opportunities to maximize business value through data, analytics, reporting, and self-service capabilities.
• Balance short-term business demands with long-term product sustainability and strategic objectives.
• Own and continuously prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, risks, dependencies, and delivery capacity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, challenge, refine, and prioritize business needs.
• Ensure requirements are sufficiently detailed and understood before development activities begin.
• Work closely with Data Analysts to refine requirements and translate them into actionable backlog items.
• Make prioritization and scope decisions to maximize delivered value.
• Ensure the squad delivers valuable increments aligned with agreed objectives and timelines.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for functional scope and arbitration between competing priorities.
• Maintain strong relationships with business representatives, data consumers, governance bodies, and other squads.
• Coordinate with architecture, governance, security, and regulatory stakeholders when required.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support the squad in defining Sprint objectives and release planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of the product and delivery process.
• Ensure alignment between squad activities and overall product roadmap.
• Contribute to fostering a collaborative, agile, and customer-centric mindset.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Understanding of Data Products and Data Mesh principles.
• Experience with Data Warehousing, BI platforms, Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, Denodo, Databricks, Fabric, or cloud-based analytics solutions is preferable.
• Experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Management, or Agile Delivery.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Agile@Scale).
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of data, reporting, analytics, or information management environments.
• Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements and delivery roadmaps.
• Knowledge of stakeholder management, prioritization techniques, and value-based delivery.
• Banking or Financial Services experience is preferable.
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory environments is preferable.
• Sound knowledge of English as well as at least one local language.

Work Location & Telework

• 50% on site and 50% homeworking, based in Brussels.
