Mega's IT department in Liege is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and development teams, translating stakeholder requests into clear, actionable specifications and ensuring delivered solutions meet objectives.
You will gather and analyze requirements, own functional specs in Jira/Confluence, participate in agile ceremonies, review UX/UI with designers, and maintain a prioritized backlog, with English and French required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's in management, IT, economics or related field.
- 5+ years BA experience in IT/product, agile.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence.
- Familiar with API flows (Postman, JSON, REST).
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of microservices (no dev skills).
- Fluent English and French; EN/NL/FR a plus.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own functional specs in Jira/Confluence, ensuring quality.
- Link between business and developers; clarify requirements and priorities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies with a functional perspective.
- Analyse impact of changes on processes.
- Contribute to test scenarios and QA validation.
- Track spec and test quality indicators.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to reflect requirements in the interface.
- Prioritize the functional backlog with other BAs.
