Job summary

ThoughtLabs Belgium seeks a seasoned professional to oversee the full lifecycle of digital solutions, from concept through retirement, emphasizing continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.

You will coordinate definition, build, and management of digital solutions while aligning with business goals, roadmaps, and governance cadences across PM, DM, SM, and OM teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years using issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) and collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence/SharePoint) to support planning and delivery.
• 15+ years applying change and release management to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of digital solutions.
• 10+ years of stakeholder and governance management with effective reporting and decisions.
• 10+ years ensuring alignment with business requirements and project objectives throughout the lifecycle of digital solutions.
• 10+ years overseeing the full lifecycle of digital solutions from conception to retirement with continuous improvement.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• 5+ years using integration technologies and APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with EU data protection rules (e.g., GDPR).
• 3+ years using case management systems or similar with workflow and query capabilities.
• 1+ year of experience with Artificial Intelligence concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital solutions from conceptualisation to retirement, using continuous improvement practices.
• Oversee the definition, construction, and management of digital solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and prioritise requirements and translate into features and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain a solution vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and portfolio objectives with measurable outcomes.
• Manage cross-functional teams in solution delivery with PMs, DMs, SMs, OMs and their teams; establish governance cadences.
• Ensure solution delivery meets timelines, budget, and quality, using KPIs and outcome-based measures.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to inform investment decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive solution documentation for traceability and knowledge transfer.

Job description

• – Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital solutions, from conceptualisation to retirement, employing continuous improvement practices.
• – Oversee the definition, construction, and management of digital solutions.
• – Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and prioritise requirements, ensuring they are translated into actionable solution features and acceptance criteria.
• – Develop and maintain a solution vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and portfolio objectives, defining measurable outcomes and metrics.
• – Manage cross-functional teams in solution delivery. Work with Project Manager (PM)s (PMs), Delivery Managers (DMs), Service Managers (SMs), Operation Managers (OMs) and their respective teams; establish decision-making structures and governance cadences (e.g. sprint reviews, roadmap reviews).
• – Ensure that solution delivery adheres to agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards, using both traditional KPIs (scope, cost, schedule) and outcome-based measures (adoption, satisfaction, cycle time).
• – Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess solution options, validate assumptions, and inform investment decisions.
• – Maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, designs, decisions, and processes, ensuring traceability, audit readiness, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• – 15 years of experience in using issue tracking tools (such as JIRA or equivalent) and collaboration tools (such as Confluence, SharePoint or equivalent) to support planning and delivery.
• – 15 years of experience using change and release management practices to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new digital solutions.
• – 10 years of experience managing stakeholders and governance, ensuring effective communication, reporting and decision-making.
• – 10 years of experience ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business requirements and agreed project objectives.
• – 10 years of experience in overseeing the entire lifecycle of digital solutions, from conceptualisation to retirement, employing continuous improvement practices.
• – 10 years of experience in cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• – 5 years of experience using integration technologies and APIs.
• – 3 years of experience of EU rules on data protection.
• – 3 years of experience using case management systems or similar, i.e. systems managing documents and / or files with workflow, business rules, database management and back office functionality for querying, analysis or reporting.
