Job summary

Bronn Photonics is seeking a Process Development Engineer to bring III-V integration onto silicon photonics from R&D to a robust manufacturing platform. Based in Ghent, Belgium, you will work hands-on in the cleanroom on wafers and devices, collaborating with designers and other process engineers to deliver repeatable flow improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry or equivalent.
• Hands-on semiconductor processing experience, preferably in an R&D environment.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and optimize fabrication processes for III-V devices.
• Work hands-on across lithography, etching, deposition, metallization, inspection and micro-transfer printing.
• Design and execute experiments (DoE), analyze results and implement improvements to yield and repeatability.
• Investigate process failures, solve problems and collaborate with internal experts and technology partners.
