Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Principal Scientist to lead global deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies in the synthetic drug substance network. You will partner with MSAT, Supply Chain, Development, Quality, and Regulatory to accelerate technology adoption and improve process robustness.

Ideal candidates bring 10–15 years in pharma development or MSAT, with strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills, plus fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, MSAT or process engineering.
Experience leading global deployment of complex manufacturing technologies.
Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global deployment strategies for advanced manufacturing technologies.
Partner with MSAT, Supply Chain, Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Site Leadership.
Drive value realization, governance, and lifecycle deployment of technologies.
