Itineris is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to own the technical direction of our AI & Insights Platforms. You will design architectures, APIs, and integration patterns, and build reusable, scalable platform components using Azure Functions, AKS, and container apps.

You will lead architectural validations and mentor engineers while enabling product growth across multiple use cases. The role emphasizes ownership, cross-team collaboration, and a strong commitment to production readiness in

Qualifications

• Several years of experience designing and building enterprise software.
• Hands-on experience designing REST/HTTP APIs and service contracts
• Experience with Azure Functions and/or Azure Container Apps/AKS
• Experience with event-driven architectures using message brokers
• Ability to independently explore, validate, and implement technical solutions.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical direction and platform architecture.
• Design domain models, service boundaries, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Build core platform capabilities using Azure Functions, AKS, and container apps.
• Lead architectural validations and proofs of concept.
• Support delivery teams and ensure production readiness for event-driven services.
• Coach engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Enable product growth through reusable platform components.
• Guide rollout and translate platform capabilities into customer-facing solutions.
