Stad Hasselt seeks a Prevention Adviser to integrate prevention into daily operations. You will contribute to the global prevention and annual action plans, perform risk analyses, and design safety and ergonomic responses. Collaboration with managers and partners ensures practical improvements.

The role emphasizes communication, awareness campaigns, and training to enhance wellbeing, with full-time hours and a measured pay scale in the 4,010.40–6,610 EUR/month range.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or demonstrated Master’s-level reasoning via aptitude test.
• Level 1 prevention-adviser diploma required; Level 2 accepted if conditions to obtain Level 1 within two years are met.
• General recruitment conditions must be met.

Responsibilities

• Carry out legally required prevention actions and drafts of prevention plans.
• Produce reporting under Belgian wellbeing at work framework.
• Strengthen dynamic risk management through analyses and reviews.
• Develop measures addressing safety and ergonomic concerns.
• Arrange workplace visits and investigate incidents and causes.
