Médiane Benelux is seeking a Design System Engineer with strong expertise in electric machines, power electronics, controls, and mechatronic system engineering to support automotive projects in the Sint-Truiden region.

You will define system requirements, contribute to the design and integration of subsystems, and analyze performance while collaborating with hardware, software, and validation teams. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or Control Engineering.
• Experience in automotive or mechatronic system engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electric machines, power electronics, and control systems.
• Experience in signal processing, data analysis, and system performance evaluation.
• Able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional level of English.

Responsabilités

• Define and develop system requirements for mechatronic automotive applications.
• Contribute to design and integration of electric machine systems, power electronics, and control systems.
• Analyze system behaviour, interfaces, and functional interactions.
• Perform signal and data analysis to support development and validation.
• Translate customer and product requirements into technical specifications.
• Support system architecture definition and design decisions.
• Coordinate with hardware, software, controls, testing, and validation teams.
• Identify technical risks, system limitations, and potential design improvements.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis during development and testing activities.
• Ensure system performance, robustness, and compliance with project requirements.
