KU Leuven's Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position focused on interreligious dialogue, global discourses and power. You will lead the DHA of policy documents and ecclesiastical texts, publishing in international journals and guiding doctoral researchers.

Work will contribute to an interdisciplinary project with partners in Flanders and Morocco, advancing theoretical frameworks of interreligious dialogue as global discourse and local

Qualifications

• PhD in religious studies or related discipline by start date.
• Strong research profile focused on interreligious dialogue and related themes.
• Experience with qualitative research and discourse analysis.
• International publication record appropriate to career stage.
• Ability to work independently and with an international team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct independent research on genealogies and global discourses of interreligious dialogue.
• Build and analyze an international corpus of policy documents and ecclesiastical texts using DHA and qualitative methods.
• Publish results in international peer-reviewed journals.
• Lead the work package on discursive analysis and coordinate with project leaders.
• Contribute to theoretical development and the project’s comparative synthesis.
• Guide doctoral researchers and foster academic exchange.
• Present findings at international conferences and build networks.
• Organize seminars, workshops, and related academic activities.
