Thema Foundries in Belgium seeks a Plant & Facilities Electrical Engineer responsible for continuity, safety, and efficiency of utility systems in a high‑tech manufacturing facility. You will manage low‑ and high‑voltage installations, automation, and PLC‑controlled systems, and drive improvements through data analysis and preventive engineering.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Electronics, or Electrical)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with low- and high-voltage installations, automation, and PLC-controlled systems in a process industry environment
• Experience supervising, coaching, and managing contractors
• High standards regarding maintenance quality, operational excellence, and safety
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team-oriented mindset
• Qualification as Environmental Coordinator Level A and/or Prevention Advisor is a significant asset
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is considered an advantage

• Prepare reports related to environmental and sustainability requirements.
• Evaluate external service providers and contractors based on safety, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Participate in an on‑call duty rotation.

As a Plant & Facilities Electrical Engineer, you are technically responsible for ensuring the continuity, safety, and efficiency of utility systems within our high‑tech manufacturing facility. Your focus is on managing and optimizing critical installations, including low‑ and high‑voltage electrical systems, automation, and PLC‑controlled systems. Through data analysis, preventive engineering, and project management, you minimize risks and ensure compliance with stringent cleanroom requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Implement and document preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Define and execute projects that drive continuous improvements in reliability, capacity, and sustainability.
• Identify the root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor installations and strive to achieve maximum uptime and operational continuity.
