Amaris Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support projects across industrial, energy, infrastructure and utilities in the Antwerp region. You will design low- and medium-voltage systems, prepare calculations and documentation, and produce electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or SEE Electrical.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with Belgian and EU standards, and participate in client and supplier meetings while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering for industrial/infrastructure/utilities projects.
• Good knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and design principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with IEC and Belgian standards is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to innovative projects across the industrial, energy, infrastructure, and utilities sectors in the Antwerp region.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop low‑voltage and medium‑voltage electrical systems.
• Prepare electrical calculations, single‑line diagrams, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Produce and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or similar tools.
• Select electrical equipment and components according to project specifications and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian and European electrical regulations and industry standards.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in electrical engineering within industrial, infrastructure, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or building projects.
• Good knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and electrical design principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or equivalent engineering software.
• Familiarity with IEC and Belgian electrical standards is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mandatory: Professional proficiency in English and Dutch, or professional proficiency in English, Dutch, and French.
