Amaris Consulting in Leuven region seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to projects across industrial, energy, infrastructure and utilities sectors. You will design low- and medium-voltage systems and prepare calculations, single-line diagrams, and specifications.

You will produce drawings with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or SEE Electrical, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure Belgian/European standards are met. English and Dutch fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with LV/MV electrical systems and design principles.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical or equivalent.
• Familiarity with IEC and Belgian electrical standards is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Produce and review electrical drawings using listed tools.
• Select equipment per project specs and standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, automation, instrumentation, and civil teams.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian and European regulations and standards.
• Participate in client, supplier and stakeholder meetings.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and innovative solutions.

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to innovative projects across the industrial, energy, infrastructure, and utilities sectors in the Leuven region.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Prepare electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Produce and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or similar tools.
• Select electrical equipment and components according to project specifications and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian and European electrical regulations and industry standards.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in electrical engineering within industrial, infrastructure, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or building projects.
• Good knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and electrical design principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or equivalent engineering software.
• Familiarity with IEC and Belgian electrical standards is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Professional proficiency in English and Dutch, or professional proficiency in English, Dutch, and French.
