ECS European Containers Ltd is looking for a Planner UK in Zeebrugge. You will organize and coordinate transport flows while communicating effectively with subcontractors and colleagues. The role demands strong organizational skills and fluency in Dutch and English.

Description du poste

Are you someone who gains energy from organizing, coordinating and communicating? Then you will feel right at home in this role. As a Planner UK, you are the central link between our subcontractors, Customer Service and the daily transport flows. You ensure that everything runs smoothly — both literally and figuratively.

Responsibilities

• Align transport capacity in a smart and cost‑efficient way to ensure smooth and efficient planning.
• Actively contribute ideas for smarter planning and capacity optimization.
• Respond quickly to delays or ad‑hoc issues and coordinate with subcontractors and Customer Service colleagues (Zeebrugge & Venlo).
• Communicate and maintain smooth, professional contact with our subcontractors in the UK as well as with direct colleagues. Your communication style is constructive, clear and goal‑oriented.

Work schedule

You rotate within a shift system: 7:00 – 15:06 / 8:00 – 16:06 / 9:00 – 17:06 / 10:00 – 18:06 / 18:00 – 22:06.

During your training period, you work from Monday to Friday. After the training period, you will work one week per month according to one of the following schedules: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday. This alternates with the other colleagues. During the week (Monday to Thursday), we have an on‑call service (18:00 – 22:06) in a rotation system with the other team members.

Profile

• Bachelor‑level thinking or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge of UK geography? A great plus!
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
• Strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented mindset
• Able to keep a cool head, set priorities and maintain oversight
• A true organizational talent with a hands‑on mentality and a constructive attitude
