imec invites applications for a Pilot Line Engineer in Leuven, Belgium. You will oversee daily follow-up of process and tool qualification, stability improvements and root-cause problem-solving in 200mm and 300mm cleanrooms.

You will troubleshoot, investigate recurring issues, and design experiments, working in a cross-functional, multicultural team. English fluency and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities are essential; imec offers a competitive salary and growth opportunities.

• Master in Science or Engineering or equivalent by experience.

Responsabilités

• Daily follow-up of process & tool qualification, stability, improvements and problem prevention.
• Troubleshoots issues related to processing and enables first/second line troubleshooters to step up.
• Investigates recurring issues, focusing on root cause analysis and structural solutions.
• Keeps focus on quality and reproducibility, monitoring stability and taking actions in case of process fluctuations.
• Designs experimental plans and executes them in the cleanroom, performing data analysis and reporting.
• Works in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment in close cooperation with researchers, hardware engineers, operations, industry assignees, device and process experts.
• Works in a two-shifts system (Early/Late) including 1weekend (Sa/Su) out of 4.

What you will do

The Pilot Line Engineer is responsible for:

• Daily follow-up of process & tool qualification, stability, improvements and problem prevention.
• Troubleshoots issues related to the processing and enables first and second line trouble shooters to step up.
• Investigates recurring issues, focusing on root cause analysis and structural solutions.
• Keeps focus on quality and reproducibility, monitoring stability and taking actions in case of process fluctuations.
• Designs experimental plans and executes them in the cleanroom, performing data analysis and taking care of reporting and documentation.
• Works in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment in close cooperation with researchers, hardware engineers, operations, industry assignees, device and process experts.
• Works in a two-shifts system (Early/Late) including 1weekend (Sa/Su) out of 4.

• You obtained a Master in Science or in Engineering or equal to this by experience, and you display strong engineering skills and mindset.
