Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Skilled Functional Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams in Antwerp for a 12-month freelance assignment. The role emphasizes translating requirements into functional specs, documenting processes and supporting agile delivery and UAT.

You will gather and document business needs, create user stories, collaborate across IT and business units, and drive process improvements while ensuring alignment with SDLC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, functional analysis or requirements management.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping and functional documentation.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with UAT, functional testing and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Translate business needs into user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and project managers.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
• Maintain functional documentation and ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support system implementation and continuous improvement.
