dotNET lab is seeking a Freelance Functional Analyst to strengthen a development team with a strong societal role. You move comfortably between business and development, taking ownership of the functional process from start to finish.

You will identify business needs, translate them into functional analyses and user stories, coordinate with stakeholders and developers, and support the team with functional questions. The assignment is hybrid, with one day per week at the Brussels office.

• Several years of experience as a Functional Analyst in software or digitalisation projects.
• Experience translating business needs into functional analyses and user stories.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
• Ability to assess connections and dependencies across a complex application landscape.
• Clear communication, asking the right questions and critical thinking.
• Independent worker who values collaboration within the team.

As a Functional Analyst, you will strengthen a development team within an organisation with a strong societal role. You will work closely with internal employees and dotNET lab consultants. You will take ownership of the functional process from start to finish.

• You have several years of experience as a Functional Analyst in software or digitalisation projects.
• You are skilled at translating business needs into clear functional analyses and user stories.
• You have experience with Agile/Scrum and enjoy working closely with developers and stakeholders.
• You are comfortable in a complex application landscape and can assess connections and dependencies effectively.
• You communicate clearly, ask the right questions and are willing to think critically.
• You work independently and take responsibility while valuing collaboration within the team.

What can you expect?

The team works according to Agile/Scrum, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
