Personal Assistant for Early Years & Primary Students
We are assisting our families in finding a dedicated Personal Assistant to support their children who enjoy learning but face challenges with managing impulsive behaviour. The ideal candidate will work closely with the students to provide guidance and help them stay focused.

- Individual Support: Provide one-on-one support to the student helping them join classroom activities following rules and social interactions.
- Behaviour Management: Implement strategies provided by the learning support team to help the student manage impulses and behaviours, ensuring a respectful and structured environment.
- Classroom Assistance: Assist the student with completing assignments and being focused on tasks.
- Social skills Development: Encourage and support social skills, communication, and self-regulation techniques.
- Collaboration: Have interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Personal Attributes:
- Knowledge of ASD/Self regulation strategies or understanding in this area is an advantage.
- Empathetic: Understanding and compassionate towards the student’s unique challenges and needs.
- Patient: Calm demeanour and able to balance nurturing support with effective guidance and boundaries.
Flexible: Able to adjust strategies and approaches based on the student’s evolving needs.
