  • Promote wellbeing and positive social skills, and safeguard students’ health and safety at all times
  • Monitor behaviour in accordance with the Student Wellbeing Policy and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in pastoral meetings and Student Study Team discussions as needed
  • Communicate professionally and sensitively with students, parents, and colleagues at all times
  • Report on student learning, achievements, and effort through Parent Teacher Consultations, Student Led Conferences, and End of Year reports
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers, the Learning Support team, and wider school staff to ensure the best outcomes for every student
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, team meetings, INSET days, and professional development sessions
  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with IB developments, research in mathematics and science education, and best practice in inclusive and inquiry-based pedagogy
  • Contribute to the review and development of school policies and take ownership of an area of school development
  • Participate in and support whole-school projects, events, and community occasions, including those that take place outside regular school hours
  • Bring the learning from professional development into daily classroom practice, ensuring a consistent and evolving approach across the team
