Greenpeace Belgium is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Department on a part-time basis (around 20 hours per week). The role is open-ended and Brussels-based, offering hands-on support with reporting, budgeting and data quality.

You will help with financial reporting, monitor budgets, support project and business cases, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial tools. Junior candidates are welcome with strong Excel skills and willingness to learn.

Competenze

• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles; understanding of budgets and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel skills; comfortable with reporting tools and databases.

Mansioni

• Support financial reporting duties for the Finance Department.
• Conduct financial analysis and monitor budgets.
• Support budget holders and operational teams with their financial duties.
• Support project and business cases.
• Data, tools and continuous improvement (financial databases, dashboards, automation).
• Offer hands-on help with operational and administrative finance tasks.
