Scalian in Belgium is looking for an OT Engineer to join a team of seasoned professionals. You will connect and integrate industrial equipment, develop and maintain OT IT communication flows, and support SCADA data collection initiatives across site operations.

We seek a Bachelor or Master in Automation or equivalent with 2–5 years in OT, knowledge of OPC UA and MQTT, and experience with Aveva Wonderware or WinCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Automation, Industrial IT, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of OT/automation experience.
• Knowledge of OPC UA and MQTT.
• Experience with or understanding of SCADA systems (Aveva Wonderware or WinCC).
• Strong problem solving, goal-oriented, self-driven, proactive, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Connect and integrate industrial equipment such as PLCs, NC machines and CMMs.
• Develop and maintain industrial communication flows between machines and IT/OT systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols.
• Support the integration of SCADA systems and industrial data collection solutions.
• Contribute to deployment and improvement of OT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with automation, IT, MES and production teams.
