Job summary

Editx in Belgium is seeking an experienced OT System Engineer to support critical manufacturing and warehousing environments across Belgium and Germany. You will help maintain and develop the infrastructure that enables automation, engineering and operations.

The role covers on-premise OT systems, Windows/Wintel, virtualization, networking, and IT/OT collaboration, ensuring security, compliance with GxP, and smooth handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining OT infrastructure in regulated environments.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, virtualization, and on-premise infrastructure.
• Strong IT/OT networking knowledge and security controls.
• Understanding of GxP, validation, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support on-premise OT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization and storage.
• Ensure availability, security and compliance of systems supporting manufacturing and operations.
• Perform installation, configuration and lifecycle management of infrastructure components.
• Support patching, backup, monitoring and incident resolution.
• Manage and troubleshoot industrial network environments.
• Maintain secure communication between IT and OT environments.
• Implement and support network security controls.
• Administer on-premise Active Directory.
• Support Entra ID integration within a hybrid identity environment.
• Contribute to validation and audit-readiness activities.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and external partners to improve reliability.
