Job summary

Yara International is seeking a Connectivity Specialist to serve as the OPC UA Platform Responsible, bridging our technology teams and production site automation. You will own the interface between technology and business, ensuring production data flows to the cloud while upholding industrial standards.

The role requires a structured, analytical mindset and experience with OT connectivity, SQL, PowerShell, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Education in automation, computing, or related field.
• Experience in technical environments or collaborative roles within complex system development.
• Experience in industrial production, automation control systems, or OT connectivity is valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main interface between technical teams and site automation/digital teams to align global platform goals with local needs.
• Design, establish, and maintain connectivity between the digital platform and OT systems, including control and monitoring.
• Contribute to scalable cloud components and architecture improvements, e.g., Grafana.
• Own end-to-end data flow from production to the cloud using OPC UA with SQL/PowerShell/CLI.
• Oversee hardware and sensor deployment in OT environments in coordination with global teams.
• Lead documentation efforts using Jira and Confluence to maintain high documentation hygiene.
• Promote Lean improvements to bridge OT and cloud workflows.
• Ensure security best practices and assist at production sites for configurations and training.
