EURAXESS Czech Republic is looking for an Optical Wireless Communication Systems Expert to join the PICSYS team at imec in Leuven, Belgium. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master's degree in relevant fields, with considerable experience in optical communication systems and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years post-PhD experience or 5 years with Master's.
• Experience in optical communication system design and characterization.
• Hands-on familiarity with photonic integrated circuits.

Responsabilités

• Develop link budgets, channel models, and performance analyses.
• Design and build OWC link demonstrators in lab and field settings.
• Translate OWC link requirements into PIC-level specifications.
