Job summary

J&J Family of Companies seeks a Medical Affairs professional to support intraocular lens (IOL) proctoring and MIR responses within Medical Affairs. You will analyze IOL cases, manage MIRs, and generate clinical reports in collaboration with Safety, Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams.

The role requires fluent English and French, with Italian valued, and offers home-office based work with up to 20% travel across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

Degree in Optometry or equivalent ophthalmology education.
Minimum 5 years of clinical and surgical ophthalmic background.
2-4 years practical experience in clinical environment (ophthalmic centers or hospitals).
IOLs subject matter expertise with analytic mindset.
Good presentation and communication skills for decision makers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytics skills, service oriented.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Fluent English and French required; Italian valued.

Responsibilities

IOLs' case analysis and calculation, focus on PCIOLs, per approved training programs and IOL calculation processes.
Manage MIR, providing clinical responses and HCP guidance according to policies in a timely manner (<4 days).
Generate MIR statistics and reports in collaboration with Product Safety, Marketing, R&D and Commercial.
Assist HCPs with post-operative outcomes analysis, providing optimization and problem-solving support.
Provide clinical expert level support to external and internal customers with focus on NPIs (New Product Introduction).
Support Demos and Clinical Studies as required.
