Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies Leuven is seeking a part-time Operations and Shipping support technician. You will inspect, maintain, and produce equipment to established standards while working with minimal supervision, and you will handle packing, shipment processing, and stock control for medical devices.

You will prepare English service reports, maintain ERP records, and liaise with branches and customer care about deliveries.

Qualifications

• Higher secondary education is required.
• Experience in a technical environment is a plus.
• Additional technical skills or knowledge are considered an advantage.

Responsabilités

Job Summary

Working parttime for the operations department and parttime for shipping, with the aim on providing a qualitative support to both teams:

Support the operations department by inspecting, maintaining and producing equipment according to established standards and under minimal supervision, on which training has been provided while acquiring increased knowledge of the equipment.

Support the shipping department by processing of packing lists, shipment of goods, checking goods, goods storage, reporting and stock management. Perform the control of produced, repaired and purchased medical electronic equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Shipping

• Control of spare parts and equipment inventory
• Shipment and reception of equipment and spare parts
• Reporting in ERP of spare parts and equipment
• Preparing service reports in English
• Communication with branches and customer care concerning deliveries
• Quality Control of manufactured and repaired equipments
• Carry out quality tests for customers, including operational testing on medical devices

May need to perform duties outside of the job description.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education

Highier secondary education is required. Additional technical skills or relevant technical knowledge are considered an advantage

Experience

Experience in a technical environment, technical skills or relevant technical knowledge is a plus (e.g. troubleshooting, diagnosing problems).
